Mapping Workshop with Our Lady Queen of Peace
Our lady queen of peace completed their
local route mapping workshop this month.This activity focuses on raising awareness about local transport
options in the vicinity of the school and local areas of interest. Classes from
3rd – 6th were divided into teams and provided with maps
of varying scale to identify public transport options, park & stride
locations, local estates and common routes to school. As part of the
introductory session to this workshop, students were provided with a balloon
buster demonstration and an open discussion about the impact of our travel
choices on the environment.
